1. UNDERGRADUATE: SEATTLE CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE Seattle Central Community College is Washington State's most lively, diverse, and innovative campus. 2. UNDERGRADUATE: THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA Are you a high-achieving student who is tired of filling out scholarship applications? At the University of Minnesota, all incoming international freshmen and transfer students are automatically eligible to receive one of the limited number of Global Excellence Scholarships. You do not need to fill out a separate application to be considered for the scholarships, which are awarded in the amount of $4,000 or $2,000 for up to four years. Furthermore, it is quite an honor to receive these competitive, merit-based scholarships, since students are considered for these awards based on an overall assessment of their admission application. Enrolled MELP students have access to cutting-edge technology and a wealth of University resources, facilities, and support services. GRADUATE, UNDERGRADUATE: THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION The University of Akron College of Business Administration offers numerous scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, including full tuition scholarships. A high percentage of Fulbright applicants are admitted and receive these scholarships, valued up to $40,000/year. The GMAT may be deferred for Fulbright scholars. Students may be admitted on the condition that they take the exam within their first semester of study. 5. GRADUATE, UNDERGRADUATE: MONROE COLLEGE NEW YORK As Monroe College celebrates our 76th anniversary, we reflect on the fact that we are a family of more than 7,500 students, 440 faculty, 450 staff and thousands of alumni who are in business, government and a host of other endeavors across the nation and around the world. Monroe is a vibrant, exciting, and popular contemporary college that offers Associate, Bachelors, and Master's degree programs. In addition to the students enrolled at Monroe's campuses in New York City, Westchester county of New York State, and the country of St. Lucia, hundreds take classes through the online learning format. 6. GRADUATE: FULL ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP AT LYNN UNIVERSITY Lynn University is seeking a 2010 graduate or transfer student to compete as a middle blocker on the volleyball team. Interested players should have experience at an elite level and meet the minimum admissions/eligibility standards (2.5 GPA and 820 SAT). The university has a full athletic scholarship to offer. Typical middle blockers in our program have been from 5'11-6'2 and approach jumped 9'7' to 10'. Players with professional backgrounds may be eligible under some circumstances. 7. PH.D.: RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE One Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistantship is immediately available. The student will work on a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project. Candidates with a strong background in nonlinear dynamics and/or computational biology are encouraged to apply. 8. FELLOWSHIPS AT THE WILSON CENTER 2010-2011 - SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND MORE The Center awards approximately 20-25 residential fellowships annually to individuals with outstanding project proposals in a broad range of the social sciences and humanities on national and/or international issues. Topics and scholarship should relate to key public policy challenges or provide the historical and/or cultural framework to illuminate policy issues of contemporary importance. Eligibility - Citizens or permanent residents from any country (foreign nationals must be able to hold a valid passport and obtain a J1 Visa)
- Men and women with outstanding capabilities and experience from a wide variety of -backgrounds (including government, the corporate world, professions, and academia)
- Academic candidates holding a Ph.D. (Ph.D. must be received by the application deadline of October 1)
- Academic candidates demonstrating scholarly achievement by publications beyond their doctoral dissertations
- Practitioners or policymakers with an equivalent level of professional achievement
- English proficiency as the Center is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas among its fellows

9. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE CENTER FOR CULTURAL INTERCHANGE CCI's Career Advancement Program (CAP) offers international university students, recent graduates and young professionals the opportunity to become an Intern or Trainee in a U.S. host business. These structured and guided work-based learning programs are in the relevant academic or occupational field and are, predominantly paid positions.
