Welcome to Bishkek Resource Center Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan where you can find much information about education in U.S. and European universities. Center provides the following services:

Library

There are more than 2000 different books about US and European universities, handbooks, guides which help you to write essays and resumes, test materials (books, cassettes, CDs) for preparing to TOEFL, GRE, SAT, GMAT, etc. For taking materials at home you should leave your identification document (passport or identification card). These materials can be given at home for 1 week. You can prolong the term of keeping materials (till 7 days).

Audio-video materials

In Center you can watch TV-programs in English, listen to audio materials for increasing your English skills.

Internet

Visitors of our Center have free access to Internet (2 hours per week) in order to find information about US educational system, study opportunities in the United States, scholarships, etc. according to preliminary registration which is hold every Friday. Lectures

Every Friday at 16:30 Center delivers lectures on the following topics: "If you want to study in USA", "US educational system", "Financial aid opportunities", "How to write essays", etc. The schedule of lectures is put up on the board of announcement beforehand. Schedule of lectures

Consultations

Center gives consultations to interested individuals about study US opportunities and since 2006 Center gives information about higher education opportunities in European countries.

All services of our Center are free of charge.

Center is opened for everyone from Monday till Friday, from 9:00 till 18:00
